California, step up for bees!
Honey bees pollinate a third of our food, including fall favorites like apples, cranberries and pumpkins. But bees are in trouble and continue dying off at alarming rates. Last season, beekeepers reported record-breaking losses of 40% or more — and scientists tell us neonicotinoid pesticides are playing a key role in these declines.
Federal agencies are moving at a snail's pace. Tell the CA Department of Pesticide Regulation (DPR) it's time to step up and follow the science!
