California Senator Dianne Feinstein is taking a stand on methyl iodide. Now’s the time to say “thank you,” and to re-double our efforts in pushing for EPA intervention.
Citing cancer and thyroid toxicity concerns, as well as “the opposition of hundreds of leading scientists,” Feinstein has called on the EPA to reconsider the agency’s 2007 decision to approve methyl iodide. Federal intervention and action on this extraordinarily toxic new pesticide is necessary and appropriate – there is just too much at stake.
Please join us in supporting Sen. Feinstein’s decision to do the right thing.
(NOTE: Only California Residents Can Thanks Senator Feinstein)
