Time to tackle persistent chemicals
Persistent chemicals are toxic, build up in our bodies and are nearly impossible to control. Many states have already taken action on these chemicals, and countries around the world created an international treaty to get them off the planet.
The prestigious President’s Cancer Panel recently confirmed what PAN and our partners have long known: We are exposed to too many chemicals that cause cancer, and something must be done. Tell your Senators to support language in the Safe Chemicals Act that gives EPA strong power to protect us from persistent chemicals.
